Why would an ex girlfriend randomly ask for sex?

I'm 20. I dated this girl for one year. We haven't spoken to each other in a year because we kind of just went our seperate ways. She sent me a message over Facebook and asked if I wanted to get together and have sex. I find this to be suspicious and very random. I'm thinking that maybe there is another reason why she messaged me out of the blue. IDK.

Why would she just randomly ask me for sex out of NOWHERE?

Lol say no : ) Shes probabley is desperate and just wants to do it with someone anyone.. she should have waited before coming out of no where and asking that : ).. thats alittle strange..
